For non-owners that have a financial interest, the following information must be included for each person:

Do licensees need to identify an owner?

Yes, the business must have at least one owner and the owners must be identified.

What constitutes a financial interest in the cannabis business?

A loan, investment, or any other equity into the cannabis business shall constitute a financial interest.

What are the requirements to be an owner of the cannabis business?

The following is considered to be an owner:

• CEO of an entity
• Person with interest of at least 20%
• A nonprofit board of director's member
• Person involved with management of business

Are fingerprints required of the owner?

Yes, the owner(s) must submit their fingerprints to the Department of Justice.

Do people with financial interests in the business have to disclose this on the application?

Yes, any person with financial interests must be disclosed.

Are there exceptions to financial interest holders being required to named in applications?

Banks are not required to be named.
