Confidential Services…
SADVC’s Law and Policy Services
consists of advocacy and education in the civil and criminal justice systems. The staff are experienced legal advocates, state certified as Peer Counselors in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Client information is legally privileged and confidential in accordance with state law.

Our Philosophy…
The program offers services in a
confidential setting focusing on the safety needs of each individual as our priority. SADVC believes that every client: deserves respect and services given without judgment; is an individual with unique circumstances and needs; AND, makes their own decisions in the problem solving process — advocates do not impose their own opinions on how to proceed no
matter how well-meaning.

Our purpose is to provide information and awareness, to open doors in the community previously unavailable, and to
promote the empowerment of each client in setting and achieving their individual goals. All services and materials are
offered in English and Spanish with the highest of priorities given to reaching
under-served locations and cultures throughout Yolo County.
